All of our work meets current building regulations, The window industry is governed by Part L Building regs and if you were to sell your property you would need the correct building regulations certificate to pass on to the new owners. We are proud to be members of this scheme which is recognised by the double glazing industry.
CERTASS is an administration and inspection scheme which acts as an alternative to Local Authority Building Control.
CERTASS has its own independent board of directors plus an independent advisory committee.
Sunbeam Windows Ltd is proud to state we are members of this scheme and once your installation is complete it will be registered with Certass who will issue you with a building regulation certificate.
What does it cover? Public Liability insurance will cover us if we accidentally damage third part property whilst on business. Sunbeam Windows Ltd has Public Liability cover for £2million which again is another backup to our professional service.
We provide all of our customers with an insurance backed guarantee with Installations Assured Ltd.
Why Is Insurance Required? We show confidence in our workmanship by giving a written guarantee between 12 months and 10 years for the majority of our work. However we cannot give an absolute assurance as to the length of time we will be in business and therefore be able to honor this written guarantee. For this reason as we are a professional contractor we provide an insurance cover which will honor our guarantee in the unlikely event of us ceasing to trade.
